Still, as the game progressed 3DMAX were able to easily push the bottom lane and take out the first tower without too much difficulty. Bounty Hunter could only stand by and watch as Sentry Wards and Dust of Appearance kept him at bay.
A large battle occured later in the Dire jungle where Na'Vi traded three heroes for one as the damage output from Luna's Eclipse proved to be too much for 3DMAX to handle. The lane was subsequently pushed but the Radiant managed to deny their first top tower.
Na'Vi shifted their attention to the center lane and proceeded to kill four heroes for none while 3DMAX was caught off-guard and had little coordination. Na'Vi stayed in the center and continued to get more kills as 3DMAX bought back in an attempt to hold the second central tower. Finally, Naga Siren was able to cast her Song of the Siren, holding the Na'Vi team in place so that 3DMAX could kill off two of them with a concerted effort and push the attack back.
3DMAX took the opportunity to counterpush through the center, ignoring the Lifestealer who was steadily taking down their second tower in the top lane. They managed to take down Na'Vi's central two towers and the game proceeded to a later phase.
Na'Vi continue to hold a gold and experience lead while hero kills were traded throughout the map, leading to a loss of every tower outside their base with the exception of the second top tower. However, Na'Vi took another team fight 4-1 in the center and immediately shifted to kill off Roshan, giving the Aegis of the Immortal to Lifestealer.
Na'vi targeted the bottom lane and pushed all the way to the third tower, but could not break 3DMAX's defense and some heroes, including Lifestealer, die without destroying the tower. However, 3DMAX chased Puck and Luna all the way across the map, overextending and losing two heroes, evening up the overall exchange.
The Dire pushed bottom again and this time managed to break through, getting the bottom barracks and pushing the 3DMAX heroes all the way back to their fountain. 3DMAX would play out the game for a minute or two more but had to concede after a short time.
Na'Vi improves to 7-1 in the group stage while 3DMAX's record falls to 7-5. Each team in the 16-team league will play a total of fifteen matches in a round-robin format. The top four teams will proceed to the final stage in double elimination format during April 26-29, 2013.
